Stem cell thyroids!!

Know this probably will never happen in my lifetime, but why can't they regrow healthy thyroids from our own body's stem cells yet and get transplants so we don't have to rely on meds, and so we who suffer can maybe feel better!!!!???? Oh, yeah, almost forgot,---big pharmacy needs their drug money!!! My bad

They've done it in mice 🐭 and test tubes, so it might be in available in your lifetime.

I mean a thyroid is only, tops, two inches wide. There's no incentive to research and developer this because we have, so called, medication to fix the problem, but we who don't have a thyroid no better!

It's not only Big Pharma the problem. If you have Hashi's, then the whole cycle of destruction will just repeat itself.

You're probably right. While pharmas are in charge of research mostly they will never find cures or preventatives. Only in it to make money which is why there are drugs that are too expensive to use. They need to separate research from drug companies and then hopefully we will all suffer less !
