I have been having blood tests since September 2018 as my thyroid levels were a bit off.
September 2018
TSH 8.5 (0.3- 5.5)
FT4 12 (10- 22)
November 2018
TSH 7.5 ( 0.3- 5.5)
FT4 14 (10-22)
Anti TPO 831 (0- 35)
I was then sent for an ultrasound which diagnosed thyroiditis so was sent for another blood test
February 2019
TSH 3.7 (0.3-5.5)
FT4 14 (10-22)
I’m just really confused what is going on with my thyroid as my blood tests are normal but ultrasound abnormal and antibodies are high.

Your high TPO antibodies and abnormal ultrasound confirm you have autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto’s
Essential to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Your first results clearly show you need treatment
The longer you are left without treatment the lower vitamins are likely to drop ...... then TSH drops because vitamins are low
Getting vitamins tested and supplement to bring to optimal
Also get coeliac blood test (via GP or online) before trying strictly gluten free diet
Very high percentage with Hashimoto’s find strictly gluten free diet helps, sometimes significantly
Do you have any gut symptoms?

Thanks for your reply, I don’t have any gut symptoms fortunately, I only seem to have symptoms related to thyroid problems such as being tired all the time and feeling cold.
I did also have my B12 checked and the results were 415 (197-771)

B12 needs to be over 500 to avoid neurological damage.
