Some people find Natural Desiccated Thyroid (NDT) best for them, some people do better on synthetic thyroid replacement. It's a very individual thing.

NDT isn't completely natural. It uses pig thyroid, but to make the tablets synthetic excipients have to be used.

Armour is the most expensive of all NDTs.

NDT is the very original thyroid hormone replacement. Sometimes we have to try several makes just like we have to do with other thyroid hormone replacements i.e. levo or T3.

It can be trial and error but quite a number of NDTs are now made elsewhere in the world.
