Paracetamol and thyroxine

Is it ok to take paracetamol about an hour before bedtime thyroxine?

I leave that amount of time when I need to take Paracetamol fairly close to my thyroid meds.

Thanks does that mean I can take it about 15 mins before i take my thyroxine, sorry to be a bit thick.

Your original question asked about taking Paracetamol one hour before your bedtime levothyroxine, I answered that is the time gap I leave if I need to take it.

I'm confused as you're now asking if you can take it 15 minutes before Levo. I don't take it so close so can't tell you if it's OK or not.

Apologies, I was going to take it about an hour before I took my levo, I thought you meant you took it really close to your levo thats why I asked if a 15minute gap would be ok.

I would look into the root cause of your need for a pain killer. You could be causing more damage?? There are natural alternatives.

Do you supplement with magnesium ? How is your vitamin d level? Your b12?

Hi Chippysue,

Apologies for not replying sooner.

I was going to take some paracetamol because I have been suffering with sciatica for a few days and have been unable to sleep comfortably.

I do take Vitamin D, magnesium and B Complex ( all brands recommended by people on this forum) my D levels have risen significantly since I started using Better you oral sublingual. My B12 was quite high in the range last time it was tested.
