Well, if you could belch out the antibodies I suppose it might be useful. Otherwise since it is only sodium bicarbonate, your stomach acid will soon neutralise it and produce carbon dioxide.

A trial of bicarbonate of soda in water, according to tests done at Southampton University College Hospital, also helped clear Candida. This was mentioned when the Candida Society was running.
