Am I right in thinking if my T4 had dropped from 17 to 14,

and I think this is due to elverol -oestrogen patches , do I add more thyroxine to get it up?

I’m on 125mg thyroxine

And 40 of T3

Thank you all in advance of any help/support 🎈

Your FT4 will have dropped because of the FT3. Whether you need to increase your levo depends on how you feel. But, can you give us all the thyroid results - TSH, FT4, FT3 - with the ranges? That will give us a clearer indication of what's going on. :)

Ah I’ve tried to post result photos

in September 2017

Free T4- 17.4 range 12-22

TSH-<0.02 mU/L range 0.27-4.2

Free T3- 6.8 range 3.1-6.8

March 2018

FreeT4-14.9 range 12-22

TSH-<0.02 mU/L range 0.27-4.2

Free T3- 6.1 range. 3.1- 6.8

August 2018

Free T4-15.7. Range 12-22

TSH-<0.02 mU/L range 0.27-4.2

Free T3-7.3. Range 3.1-6.8

Before September 2017 I’d tried 75mg of just T3 for awhile,

but other than that I’m on a constant does of

125 thyroxine and

40 T3

All bloods are done 9am-10am fasting within meds

'Within meds'? Do you mean 'without meds'?

But, how do you feel on that dose?

It's not that doctors aren't paying attention, they just don't know anything about it. :)

I meant without meds,

I feel so tired, have inflammation type pains in heel,

knee and now the heel of my hand,

also doc says I’ve tennis elbow 🤷‍♀️ but mainly wrecked.

2 yrs ago I’d positive antibodies for autoimmune hepatitis so obviously that has added to pure exhaustion. Thank you @greygoose

Could be that your FT3 is a little too high - sometimes, too much is as bad as not enough. Have you tried reducing your dose slightly, to see if it helps? If it doesn't, then perhaps you do need to increase your T4 a little. :)

ok That’s worth thinking on, and I’ve never had reverse T3 tested either

I wouldn't bother, if I were you. It won't tell you anything useful. :)

You also need to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 too

Thank you @SlowDragon yes I remember I had a reply before from a member feeling I’d an issue with iron/ferritin and my B12 was around 300 when tested before. I don’t know what I would need to do for doctors to pay attention.🤷‍♀️
