Hello all, blood results back, looks like I’m in normal parameters. Can anyone tell me if there’s anything else I should be aware of? I have another page of blood results will post again. Cheers for any help :)

Your TSH and FT4 are pretty normal. But, on their own don't signify much. You really need your FT3, TPO antibodies and Tg antibodies tested to give a complete picture.

On your other page, I see ferritin it very low, and that could be the reason for your hair loss. It would also be a good idea to get your vit D, vit B12 and folate tested. Doctors do so many blood tests but refuse to do the ones that are most important for thyroid! Which is why so many people resort to private blood tests, I'm afraid.

Thank you, I asked my doc to add the antibodies and he was adamant it wasn’t necessary. Bah.

Just goes to show how much he knows about anything! Thing is, if they were high and you started asking awkward questions, he wouldn't be able to answer them. So, from his point of view, they aren't necessary. But, you need to know.

Greygoose- do you have experience or know a reason for joint and muscle pain that only feels relief when Its squeezed?! Sounds mad but my upper arms and thighs hurt. My knuckles ache. Sorry for asking but I’m at a loss

I don't have any experience of that, no. I don't think I'd be brave enough to squeeze my muscles if they hurt. However, there are all sorts of reason for aching muscles - low nutrients for one. Which is why we need to get vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin tested. But, I found that low zinc was the cause of my muscle pain. It went away pretty quickly when I started supplementing zinc.

Hypos are often low in zinc, and high in copper - perhaps you already know that the two should be balanced. But in hypothyroidism, they often aren't. As you don't yet have a diagnosis, it might be advisable to get both zinc and copper tested, to see their levels. Then, if necessary, you can supplement them both.
