Good morning everyone, I haven't been on here much due to feeling poorly. Is this due to having thyroid issues or some other underlined problem..... ( i have no thyroid. 23 yrs now )
Many meetings with the Doctors, Lifestyle? really? Jeez, give me a break!
So they think it could be Chronic Fatigue, to determine this they have to perform a lot of Blood tests. This has been going on for Month's, I am exhausted with it all now
Can anyone on here read full blood count results? Would be a great help
I cannot see my Doctor for another week to go over the results. Don't know if I have the energy to wait that long! I need my life back......
Thanks, Guys.....

Hi Tanny123, I can’t help with blood count or whatever, but what I do know is that a lot of people with no thyroid need some form of t3 medication as well as levothyroxine, synthroid or whatever. Are you in the USA? If so, you might have access to NDT (Armour thyroid and the like) or t3 meds.
It might be worth posting your thyroid results on here for the experts to see and comment on, if you haven’t already.
Hi beh, Thank you for your reply. I am in the UK, I am on 150 levothyroxine, have been for quite a while. That is all the medication I take, My Thyroid blood test was taken back in July, Doctor said that it was within range. Maybe I should buy that copy also.
Just to second the previous comment that it would be helpful to see any other results that you have (with their reference ranges) and a reminder of your dosage of levo. plus any medications and supplements that you are taking.
Do you have any blood test results for your vitamins and minerals as it's frequently suggested that it's much harder for thyroid hormone replacement to work appropriately when vitamins and minerals aren't in their optimal ranges (scraping in at the bottom of a range might not be optimal).
This will depend on your device but there should be a little downward arrow or other edit option available on your post that allows you to edit it to include any blood test results that you have.
I'm referring to the three posts you posted today...
SeasideSusie has already commented on your Vitamin B12 and your Vitamin D.

Your folate seems rather low to me. I hate those reference ranges which have no upper limit.
When I've seen an upper limit given in other people's posts it varies quite a lot. It can be anything from 20 - 30, around 40, or I've even seen a top of range being around 60.
In each case I have no idea if the units of measurement were the same.
You could try taking 400mcg of folate or perhaps just increase your intake of folate-rich foods, to see if it makes any difference.
The Tolerable Upper Intake Level for folate is 1000mcg per day, according to this link :
Ferritin : Your ferritin level is absolutely fine. If you are taking iron supplements you should either stop taking them or reduce them to a maintenance level. But test occasionally to be sure it doesn't get too high or drop too low. The best finger-prick test for iron-related measures that I'm aware of in the UK is this one :
Your TSH is fine as it is, but isn't very informative on its own. Without a Free T3 and a Free T4 nobody on this forum would want to say whether you were adequately treated or not. Since you have recent results for ferritin, vitamin b12, folate and vitamin D there isn't much point in testing them again in the very near future. But you could do with some more thorough thyroid function testing :
Some of the individual components of the FBC also have their own pages you can read.
I'm afraid I can't make much of your FBC results. Your results are a bit "non-standard". I'm used to seeing results that are due to anaemia caused by low iron (which you don't appear to have), low B12 (which you don't appear to have) and/or low folate (yours is low but still in range and should be improved), but yours show several above range results rather than low in range result. So I'm going to admit defeat, sorry!
