Or you could be experiencing other hypothyroid symptoms. A choking feeling is a common, but under recognized, symptom of low cellular T3.
Labs should include TSH T3, T4 and rT3 at minimum.
Do you have trouble swallowing? Or feel that there's a constant lump in your throat? If so, it is pressing on your eosophagus.
My thyroid readings are all in range.
I have constant throat problems but they are higher than where the nodules are. My neck is so uncomfortable. Doctors say I’m imagining it all.
Yes possibly I had to have my thyroid removed as my nodule was causing my trachea to move out of line and, therefore, breathing was difficult too.
If your trachea was out of sync someone should have explained this.
Before I had my thyroid removed I wasn't experiencing any symptoms apart from the breathing I wasn't on any medication and my TSH was only 1.2
