Just curious on what the CRP level I know that is something to do with inflammation of some sort. If anyone can explain what this is my result seems quite high

It’s C-reactive protein and yes you’re right. When it is raised it’s indicative of inflammation or infection.

At 0.11 yours is extremely low rather than high so it’s not worrying at all there.

Oh haha, I have no idea how to read results like this so it's low not high , thank you for telling me x

Chlo

Your result is not high.

It's very low in the normal range so an excellent result.

It's an inflammation marker. An indicator of inflammation somewhere in the body - if raised.

I have seen raised results of 39 and as high as over 200. Yours is less than 1. Top of normal range is 5.

Your Ferritin has recovered well with the tablets.

All these results are good. Remember my pm ?

I have just seen last PM :)...and yes haha I just realised that! I thought it was a high reading. Surprised about the iron mine was 10 now it's 48, I've only been taking prescribed ferrous fumurate 2 weeks I didn't think it would go up that much in that amount of time x

Yes, wonderful C Reactive Protein result. I think you are supposed to stop taking iron supplements several days before the test but your ferritin is still too low. At least half way in the range is preferable.
