Theresa72,

If you are taking Levothyroxine your TSH should be around 1.0 or lower.

Theresa72,

Tell her that TSH 1.0 is also normal and ask for dose to be increased.

It is. But it's irrelevant. You need to know your FT4 and FT3. They could still be low if you still have symptoms.

I had my vit D in August and they sais it was a little high probably because i take 50,000 units and I'm the one that wants to do the be 12 so I'm getting B12 shots

If you are on thyroxine treatment, it is a fact that the "reference range" that was obtained from normal euthyroid people does not apply to patients on T4 or T4/3 or T3 therapy. The whole range is shifted downwards so that for example, a TSH for a "normal" person of 4.0 would be far too high for someone on therapy. This is because the amount of T4 needed to get a reasonable FT3 level is higher than when the thyroid is working, and so, because T4 suppresses TSH, to get a good FT3 you will need a lower TSH.

If you are taking any form of thyroxine TSH is irrelevant.
