I am confused as all the advice on this forum says to stop any B12 supplementation for 5-6 months before testing....however the Medichecks test says stop for a week..., also Sheep’s milk is high in B12 so would that not skew results also..., if these foods/supplements are part of your diet and raise your levels does it really matter once they are getting your levels where they need to be?
I drink sheep’s milk, have been taking a B Vit containing some B12, and over the years have used yeast flakes in cooking, eggs - I have always been mindful of B12 being vegetarian but also eating fish the odd time... I don’t really want to stop B12 for 6months as would be scared of my levels dropping?
Am I overthinking this???
