Hypothyroidism

Hi, I am new to this forum and I have a few questions for some experienced people. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and they also felt a knot in my neck. I had a biopsy done and thankfully it wasn’t cancer, but it was a colliad nodule. They chose to not remove it. They also said my THS and FT3 and FT4 was in range so I didn’t need medication. Two weeks later it was time for my wellness exam with my Primary doctor sent me to due blood work and said that my THS was low and my FT3 was low and put me on 5mg of Armour Thyroid.

Ref Ranges

My THS was 1.06 (0.350-4.940) Ulu/ ml

FT3 was 1.68 (171-371) pg/ml

Three weeks ago when I had my biopsy done

My THS was 1.51 (Ref range 0.35-5,00) Ulu/ml

FT3 was 2.29 (Ref range 171-371) pg/ml

FT4 was 1.0 ( Ref range 0.7-1.9) ng/dl

I am confused. Should I or should I not be taking the Armour Thyroid. How one doctor said yes and the other said no.
