So, I’m definitely on the mend more than a year after my “crash”. My activity levels are back to what they used to be and I’m way less tired or fatigued than I used to be.
However, since last year I’ve had quite bad tendon (?) pain over the front of my knee caps on bending, stairs etc. Now, my hips have joined in and when standing or beginning to walk after being still, over the fronts of my hips are really stiff and painful.
Now I’m quite active and no amount of exercise or stretching helps. Neither does resting. Sometimes the pain spreads right around my pelvis to my back, and my legs can feel quite sore from my knees down through my shins.
Any ideas? Is it likely to be a thyroid issue? Ive read similar symptoms with lupus but I’m just scaring myself 😬. I’ve no idea what my current levels are... previous ones in older posts but I’m due new bloods following a rise to 200mcg.
I feel maybe some T3 would help me overall but it’s an interesting time to ask for any!

Hi murphysmum, I have the hip pain and seize up after sitting for a while too. I looked back at your previous post and I have Campbell de Morgan spots too. I have no answers to your questions, however I’m on T3 and have the same issues...
I’ve spent more than a year to get back to “normal” and now my activity levels etc definitely are, but I’m still having muscle weakness and these sore tendons etc (not to mention the brain fog!). I just feel like I’m nearly at the top of the hill but I can’t quite get there? Like I have nothing in reserve. I wonder if T3 could be that little top up that my cells are craving.
