Hi all, just wondered if anyone has done a test for the MTHFR gene, if so, which is the best one to do, I’m not sure which one to go with. Also had it helped your symptoms?

Thank you! Tracy x

MTHFR GENTICS UK is the best place to do it but it takes a very long time to receive results up to three months. I think it is worth to do as you only do it once in life and can get very important informations. In my case in example I learned what kind of vitamins and minerals I should take and which are toxic. Same with food. But it is important that you have someone that explain and analyze results for you.

Hi Sabine_es,

That’s great thank you, I’ll take a look. Knowing about vitamins and food sounds good as I take so many and don’t know if they’re doing me any good or not. It’s a long wait though.

Thanks again

LifecodeGx lifecodegx.com have a very comprehensive Methylation report - not just MTHFR. It takes 3 weeks and they will explain results to you over the phone.

Hi MemmaB,

Thank you, that’s sounds good too, I’ll check them out as I need to get sorted, it’s the only thing I’ve not tested for and the symptoms all fit.

Thanks again,

Tracy x
