I take Nature- Throid (dessicated pig thyroid) for Hashis. I have started to have borderline High BP and PVCs. I have a nuclear stress test scheduled. Anyone had a connection? Dropping the dose didn't help

Tink, where are you - are you in the U.K.? Is your Nature Throid prescribed or are you self sourcing it? Are you aware that there have been some concerns raised about Nature Throid in recent months regarding its potency?

I take Nature Throid and like some others here, I’ve had to raise my dose recently in order to feel better - it doesn’t seem as strong any more.

I am in the US, Florida. I get it by prescription. I knew there was a shortage last year , but not that the formula was changed!

I have Graves and I have periods of PVCs. I saw a cardiologist and had loads of tests and a heart scan. He says that these runs of PVCs are due to the amount of thyroid hormones in my body which for me means I’m either over or under medicated. Some people are more sensitive to levels than others.
