Hi. I have some Tiromel (25mcg) which i am taking along with 50mcg of Levo. I have just started and my endo knows so we are just going through trial and error.
I have been taking it before bed but I don't know if that that's what I should be doing. I have no idea what time of the day to take it.
Any suggestions of the best time of day and if and when I may start to feel the effects of taking it?
Thank you

What were your results immediately before starting to add T3 - both FT4 and FT3?
Did you reduce your Levo at all?
When adding T3, you go low and slow. Start with 1/4 of a tablet added to your Levo and leave it for 2 weeks, see how things go. If all OK and you feel the need, then add a second 1/4 tablet, you might light to take the first 1/4 early morning and the second 1/4 in the afternoon or at bedtime. Then you could go 2 weeks and add another 1/4, so 1/2 morning and 1/4 later in the day, but only if you feel the need. Otherwise, wait for 6 weeks after adding the second 1/4 and retest.
It's essential to go slowly so that your body gets used to the hormone.
When on T3, testing FT3 is essential.
Tweaking doses and time to take doses is all down to experiment and see what suits you best.
Same "rules" apply to T3 as to Levo - take it on an empty stomach, one hour before or two hours after food, with a glass of water only, and 2 hours away from other medication and supplements (although some need 4 hours).
When having thyroid tests, leave off Levo for 24 hours, and leave of T3 for 12 hours.
