I started 50mcg Levothyroxine a month ago & have been taking it on an empty stomach (with16oz water) between 5-7am and going back to bed. Throughout the day I just don’t feel quite right and researched that people have better luck taking it at night, So that is what I want to start doing.
I just need to know how long after dinner will my stomach finally be “empty” for me to take it? Thank you for any help👍🏻

Don't forget as well that you aren't on the best dose for you yet. I'm hoping your doctor told you to come back for another test after 6-8 weeks.
We start on a low dose to get our bodies used to the medication then retest after 6-8 weeks when we probably need and increase. If that's the case we retest again after another 6-8 weeks and keep repeating this until we are on the correct dose.
Yes they did tell me to come back, I have an appointment the 28th. I just do a lot of research and know that their are some people out there who either don’t have any negative side effects and some who feel better in a couple of weeks. Lol.
When it comes to medication, I am never that lucky. I am so sensitive to meds, that I used to not even take Alieve, Tylenol or Ibuprofen due to the fact my heart would race.
I just want to try to make transition into a new medication easy and actually work, ya know? So I am hoping they figure out my correct dose ASAP.
It's a case of titrating until you get to the right one so can't cut any corners as doing so you may mess it up and have start again so best advice is slow and steady
