I have been wondering about the difficulties in reliable T3 supply. The company in northern Cyprus I used to get T3 from became extremely unreliable & due to being alerted on this forum,I started buying from Mexico.

I had assumed that due to the rise in popularity of enlightened forums & websites like this one,Demand was massively outstripping supply & pharmacies were not coping.

I also read on here recently that NDT contains some thyroxine,to keep the percentages correct, which really shocked me,as many people on NDT cannot tolerate thyroxine.

This got me wondering if demand for NDT was also outstripping supply, due again to the spreading of knowledge through the self help internet.

Is this why re-formulations of NDT which previously worked excellently, are now causing symptoms? Are they adding thyroxine to keep up with demand & causing issues/symptoms for some people.

That wont be the reason for the shortage of supply. That will be the reason that supplier no longer does any business. You can possibly still buy Tiromel over the counter in Turkey.

You already know that Grossman Cynomel has production delays.

Some members tell us that Unipharma is prescription only in Greece/Greek islands and difficult to now buy over the counter.

I'm still annoyed and a bit heartbroken that we've lost a very reliable supplier and also concerned about T and what has happened to her.

To be arrested as a criminal for supplying essential thyroid hormones, whilst others who sell other serious addictive drugs are not pursued is ridiculous. T3 is not a 'drug' but a thyroid hormone replacement which allows our body to function normally. Whereas those who take or sell life destroying addictive drugs can carry on as normal.

Should we not all write to the newspaper stating that without her assistance that many who sourced through her and are now well she helped to restore their health.

Now that this is being prevented means that many will return to ill-health, through no fault of their own but because T3 is very difficult to source in the UK or other countries.

This was reported here some time ago. That's why people who used that supplier cannot now order from her, but it doesn't explain any other shortages
