I need a new Endocrinologist in Merseyside or Cheshire areas

I’m finding this site and people on it invaluable.... 👍

Can anyone please advise me of a good thyroid and adrenal Endocrinologist please. I’m having to change my Endocrinologist as he will not return my calls or even to my GP. He put my on NDT I am about to run out,which I informed my GP and Endocrinologist a few times in the past 3 weeks. After chasing again today with my GPs help there is still no return call or letter from him or his secretary.

I have no idea why he will not contact me in response? I’m getting desperate now for my NDT. My GP said his words ‘ you might as well be talking to a plumber’!! As he knows nothing about NDT and can’t prescribe it. I’ve also tried my Endocrinologist through his private route still no reply.

I’m worried about returning to Levothyroxine as this year something has happened to me and I couldn’t take it anymore. It made me feel like a rag doll. I stopped it for one week and I was completely fine. So we switched to NDT successfully and now I’m much better, not completely but I can now go shopping and do stuff at last.

So any Endocrinologist recommendations would be gratefully received for thyroid and adrenal issues more so than diabetes
