Iron panel - serum iron. How to get this checked when GP won't!

I am reliably informed (by SeasideSusie - thanks Susie😊) that it would be wise to get my serum iron tested before supplementing further with ferrous fumurate.

My doctor has already told me I am not anaemic and, after seeing my numbers, Susie agrees, although my ferritin is low in range. Another GP at the practice said my ferritin was fine. I was not prescribed an iron supplement, just told it would be ok for me to take ferrous fumurate, one 210 mg tablet daily which I did for a month and have now stopped for fear of overdosing.

In view of the fact that the doctors clearly don't think that I have a problem, I don't think they will agree to order the appropriate blood tests.

I can't find this test on the Medichecks website. Can anyone advise me as to where to get it done? I would be grateful as always for any help.
