Kazbe have u seen nutritionist ?? Have u tested ur gut issues like SIBO Candida parasites toxicity etc ? Try to change ur diet too I have adopted aip diet autoimmune protocol diet and from tomorrow no fruits . My pain was actually from H Phylori bacteria in stomach and I didn’t know so Iam treating that one .i can’t up my dose as Iam not converting ok I have purchased some t3 from germany they make compounding one just from olive oil no fillers . I will slowly introduce it as also my magnesium low vitamin b12 low and ferritin so no conversion .low witamins usually means leaky gut and SIBO or candida.i am suggesting you to test for those and to get a gut nutritionist who treats autoimmune diseases .
I’m glad you seem to be sounding a little better since we last spoke and at least you know what your issues are and you can address them accordingly 😀 I have got an appointment with a specialist in London who deals with Autoimmune Disease they look at root cause and test for gut issues food intolerance etc and they have their own in-house special NDT !! Not sure whether it’s NDT or glandular but they sound amazing ! I’m so looking forward to going and shedding some light on my health issues . They treat with good nutrition advice herbs supplements and lifestyle choices etc 😀 il keep you posted I’m hoping and praying they can get me sorted 😀
Were the thyroid results while you were on Levo? If so I suspect you are under medicated but if it's recent it all depends how long you had been back on Levo after trying to raise your grains.
It's not that easy going over to NDT if other things aren't in place first. If vits and minerals aren't good then that can present a problem and it does take months to address them, particularly if they are low. Took me 5 months to address my issues as I wasn't converting well but then I switched over to NDT with no problems. Your body usually tells you when you need to increase but why not try a smaller dose rather than going in half grains and see if that helps plus by doing that you can easily miss your sweet spot-something else I did by going up in half grains! Advice to me was to go up in quarters after 2.00 which I did but I needed and still do 1.75 so it was then. I learned the lesson that being slightly over is very much the same as being slightly under! So thats why better to go slowly to get a better idea of what's happening. I'd timed this so that my Endo could check my bloodsfor me asthatsthe onlyvreally accurate way of knowing what is going on. My previous Levo dose was 125/120 but can't really use that as a comparison as strengths of NDT can vary!
I will go up in 1/4 grains it’s only been nearly a week I went straight to one Grain from my 75mcg Levo .
Iam starting to feel tired and quite sweaty keep feeling very warm then cold sweat it feels like I’m under medicated but it’s too soon to up another 1/4 it’s only one week not two ?
But obviously I’m on the equivalent to approx 38mcg Levo and 9mcg T3
I’m tempted to add a 1/4 tomorrow my temp is 36.8 which is good (I’m usually colder) pulse 88bpm which is ok for me
The results I posted were on Levo 75mcg for 8 weeks ! I’d come off NDT because I felt awful this new batch didn’t feel the same I was on 2 grains I couldn’t raise but still feel it could be Adrenals that have crashed. I’ve got high Cortisol so just taking supplements and reducing stress but I’m so shocked my vits have hardly budged !
Think I’m going to up by 1/4 and up my Vit D iron Vit C etc and see how I go I’ve been struggling so my family are helping me find someone who can deal with Autoimmune Adrenals etc but not an Endo more nutritionist/ functional medicine .
On NDT, you can raise by 1/4 tablet every two weeks, always taking note of how you 'feel' and relief of symptoms. Keep an eye on pulse/temp and if either go too high drop to previous dose.
Question ... I am on NDT compound capsules 75mg so are the tablets made at a compounding chemist. I am in Australia so a bit confused with reference to tablets.
