I know doctors in UK won’t prescribe it but is there another way of being able to purchase it to try ?
I’ve been on 175mcg of Levothyroxine every day for years with no obvious benefit for the symptoms I have.

NatureThroid is prescription only. The only non-prescription NDT brands that I know of are the Thai brands. Then there are the "glandulars" with undisclosed amounts of T4 and T3, eg Metavive, Thyrogold
If you post your latest test results on the forum, members might be able to help. You may have a problem converting T4 to T3, you might have nutritional deficiencies that are stopping your Levo from working. There are other things to explore before trying NDT.
Ideally we need to see results for
TSH
FT4
FT3
Thyroid antibodies
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
I have regular full blood screens and nothing else has shown up. I’m not due another yet but will post results when I have it done.

But that doesn't tell us your results, whether you have a high FT4/low FT3 which would suggest a conversion problem, or whether your vitamin/mineral levels are low.
Get a print-out of your last blood test from surgery. We are entitled by Law to be given copies. Mine charge 30p for a sheet.
Make sure the ranges as well as the results are stated.
Put them on a new post for comments. Many doctors think a 'normal' TSH is up to 10 and do not realise that once we're diagnosed it has to be around 1 or lower - not higher.
If you've not had a Full Thyroid Function Test - I know NHS wont do so - you can get a home private blood test - pin-prick so make sure you are well hydrated a couple of days before blood draw.
Request: TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies.
Post results on a new post.
GP should test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.
How do I work out how much Thyroid S to take or Thyrovanz ? I take 175mg of Levothyroxine a day
I see you have TEVA brand there! An easier route to feeling well may be to swap brands as many people have problems with TEVA. Easier than changing to NDT and worth a try.
I had a ,out of trouble with Teva. When I told gp, she said she has come across other people having problems with Teva. I had terrible debilitating anxiety. Not had it since changing to other brands.
I was very ill on Teva try a different brand first
I also think that mixing brands could be problematic. The general advice I think usually is stick to one brand, although I know the Wockhardt brand only do 25mcg. I take two of them for 50 mcg dose as I didn’t want to risk Teva with the bad reviews. I was given 50mcg Teva but changed it. Good luck!!
I ordered some Thyroid S yesterday so fingers crossed all will be well soon 🤞🤞
You really need to check your conversion isspot on first and correct it if not. You can only do tgisxon Levo as resuktsxare read differently when on NDT or adding T3 and in that scenario FT3 is the only accurate reading but you need to compare FT4 with the FT3 to look at conversation so need to be of Levo only for that.
