I feel terrible I am so exhausted my whole body aches all over terrible palpitations, I have not slept for two months since taking this awful medication I’m not getting to sleep until the early hours then waking every few hours! I’m so tired and depressed with it all !
I dont know what to do I’ve tried most things I am reluctant to go back on Nature Throid as I’ve heard it contains maize starch the same as Levo (Mercury Pharma) and fillers not sure if that’s what I’m reacting too .
I am wondering whether to try nature Throid and up my dose faster I went much too slow before ? Or to try another NDT Armour or even thyro gold I’ve heard some good reports .
I just feel I’m sinking fast and nothing seems to be working any advice would be very much appreciated .
Sorry for long post and Thankyou for the continued support .

There is very informative literature on the website"Stop The Thyroid Madness"about difficulties raising NDT to an appropriate dose.Given your body's reaction to thyroxine,it would be a good idea to research these before giving up on NDT.
Many people with this reaction to thyroxine do well on T3-only,too.
I didn’t realise you could take NDT with a little bit of Thyroxine that’s really useful to know. My T4 dropped way below range whilst on Nature Throid and T3 only budging a little . I’ve never tried T3 only it’s always worried me because of my palpitations!
I am just looking to go and see someone not sure to go to an Endo or nutritionist it’s so difficult to find someone who specialises in Hashimotos and open to try NDT too
I just want to try and get myself sorted so I can try and rebuild my life .
Hi, if you manage to find someone in the midlands who knows about ndt or hashimotos if you could let me know that would be much appreciated. Thank you! Hope you feel well again soon x
For replying I’m sorry to hear to had to go back to levothyroxine as you were feeling unwell . That has happened to me twice it’s so hard when all we want is to just feel well again!
Hope you don’t mind me asking did you feel ok on WP Thyroid ? Was it just Nature Throid as I’ve heard a few people say they have changed the formulation or they became unwell after recent batches ?
I’m considering trying another NDT but not sure which, I chose NT as it was for the most sensitive!
It’s all trial and error isn’t it, I do hope you are starting to feel better now .
It took a little time converting from levo to WP, but from what I remember it was a definite improvement. When WP was discontinued I went over to NT, I remember having frequent heart palps, for no reason heart would jump to 150bpm, felt constantly anxious. Maybe I didn’t give it chance, but I got to the point that I just wanted some consistency so decided to revert back to Levo. There are still side affects but the heart palps have disappeared and so has the severe anxiousness. Energy levels and drive are down compared to WP, definitely.
Sounds like the the NDT you tried after WP was either a lot stronger or had fillers you were sensitive to.I can't tolerate much levo-for the same reasons:_tachycardia episodes, ectopic beats & anxiety.
I think NT may be weaker than WP. Symptoms of over and under medication can be the same. I dropped my doseage down thinking I was over when on NT. it turned out I was way under medicated.
I’m still a bit pi**ed at RLC labs for the way they dealt with pulling WP off the market under the guise that they were building a new production plant.
Yes NT is Nature Throid is possibly weaker than others and very expensive with shipping costs to the uk !!!
I’ve never tried the Thai Thyroid s and Thyroid or TR Mann I was always too cautious about fillers etc but many people are doing really well it’s something to consider
Keep seeing info around at moment on sites to reinforce re healing gut / bacteria and eliminating any candida overgrowth.... as the all important foundation for overall health
Tis true as its says,
You are what you digest rather than what you eat
If anything helps here xxx
I do know Dr P advocates you cant always get on with thyroid meds if adrenals are insufficient xx. So much to think of i know 😘
I take iron bisglycinate & magnesium bisglycinate. The former I find the least "bunging up"form, the latter I find the least "loosening"form. The magnesium is winning, though I only use it 2 or 3 times a week.In general,I find these 2 chelated forms even each other's effects out!
I take 3 iron capsules(20mgs each) & one magnesium capsule(500mgs.Will buy the 200 mgs next time)I buy all my supplements on Ebay, mostly from "Phoenix Nutrition"& "Bulk Powders"
