I am taking 1mg b12 most days and latest results show over range 700 (?-520)
I had not taken any for a week before test.
Shall I continue taking them or better stop?

700pmol/L translates to 948pg/ml.
According to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:
"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".
"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."
So you are in a perfect place. When I reached this level I changed my daily dose to a maintenace dose and now just take B12 twice a week. Or just take a good B Complex like Thorne Basic B or Igennus Super B which, at the recommended dose, gives 400mcg methylfolate which may be enough to maintain your level.

I presume you are injecting. What suprises me is how low it is considering how much you were injecting. I jab once a week and am always way over 1000 sometime too high to measure. I think if you stopped taking you would then become deficient very quickly. Other than this I dont think you have anything to worry about.
No, not injecting only pills.
Clara may I ask what type of B12 you take? How much B12 per pill, and if you take daily?
You could swop,to a good quality daily vitamin B complex. One with folate in not folic acid
This helps all B vitamin levels, not just B12
If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results
