Do my hormones look low?

Here is my ostradil reading from medicjecks in March. Luteal phase was highlighted. Is this on the low side? I’m not having periods. Medichecks report came back with both progesterone and oestadil in grey without notes.

This is low on the range, so looks lowish to me? Not sure if it’s like thyroid where in range needs to be.

Trying to work out if my sex hormones are playing a big part of my unwellness. I know it’s a balancing act!

Reading says 320 (122-1094)

Thanks

It's not seriously low, just on the low side. Estrogen is better on the low side. Progesterone on the other hand, is better on the high side. Using bioidentical progesterone may bring your periods back. :)

My progesterone was 39.7 (5.3-86)

What do you make of that?

Just wondering if these could be playing havoc with everything?

Thank you x

Result indicated ovulation but I’m not having periods at all. Have always had erratic light periods (extremely light!)

Did you have your LH and FSH values checked by any chance?

I did but on a test after and I’m afraid I don’t know at what point in my ‘cycle’ these were taken...LH 12iu/and fsh 4.3

Different ranges for each. Is this helpful?

I ask mainly because a very common cause of missing periods is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and you may be able to determine if a person has it by looking at their LH:FSH ratio (I was told this by my gynaecologist as I suspected I might have it myself, but mine was roughly 1:1.). An LH/FSH ratio of 2:1 or higher can suggest PCOS.

(I apologise if you know this already!)

So mine suggests PCOS?

Yours is 3:1 so it would suggest that. It's by no means a diagnosis by itself but a ratio above 2:1 would probably motivate a gyne to do proper diagnostic testing. PCOS and Thyroid issues sometimes appear together, I think to some degree they are related.
