Hi, my NHS T3 prescription is being withdrawn so I need to source it privately. How do I do this and where can I get a reliable source as cheaply as possible. Any help gratefully received!

As your T3 is being withdrawn you must write to your local MP and inform him/her that you only recovered with T3. Also write to Lord Hunt and I will give you a link as TUK have informed him of the withdrawal and he has taken up the cause at present. We don't yet know what the outcome will be. There is also information on the page about the Debate in the House of Lords which lasted about 3.5 hours.
Also if you aren't a member of Thyroiduk.org.uk you can join as the more members we have the better. I shall give you the links:-

No information is permitted on the Open Forum with regards to sourcing prescription medication and so I will have to close this post just in case an inadvert post is put up but private messages may be sent to you.
Hi, thanks so much. I just read about your work with the House of Lords-well done! My MP has already been very helpful in extracting what he and I thought was a positive message about prescribing T3 from my CCG but it hasn’t translated into practice. I will join TUK. Thanks for the prompt and for the work you are doing on my and other people’s behalf.
You might be able to persuade your doctor to continue prescribing on the basis that you will use it to import Thybon Henning from Germany, see thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm... . This will save the NHS from supplying expensive UK liothyronine. Personally I'd take the cost of liothyronine out of the NHS procurement pension plans.
