Welcome to our forum and I am sorry you have several autoimmune conditions.

The good news is that you don't have Helicobacter but are positive for intestinal mateplasis. I am sure your doctors will be able to treat you successfully but most on this forum are questions about the thyroid gland.

This link will be helpful for you and will reassure you and has good information.

Hi Xiao, there are many substances that harm the stomach and they are usually in food. If you can stay with whole foods, you are less likely to have those substances. The nitrates in preserved meats are known to cause cancer. Your body always wants to heal so try to eat healthy fruits and vegetables and if they are raw contain many enzymes to help digest them. This man knows so much about body function and always says your body wants to heal so perhaps this will help. youtube.com/watch?v=OIZHHs3...

You're welcome, Xiao. You still need a lot of nutrition and with the condition you are probably not breaking down nutrients, especially minerals, but you desperately need them. Diverse foods are best and helps your microbiome. I do hope you consider digestive enzymes and if you are not producing enough acid to digest food, you consider Betaine HCL or even unfiltered apple cider vinegar with meals as it helps block starch which you may be getting in excess.

Dr. Bergman does believe in healing even autoimmune conditions unlike the majority so look up more of his very informative videos on You Tube. Keep posting your questions.

Hi Heloise, thank you for your advise about enzymes. Yes I do take enzymes a capsules each meal, it is helped me to digeststion. My problems are small intestinal creeping very slowly, constipation . My gastrologis said it cause acid reflux to my stomch which might cause intestinal mateplasis. So he asked me take movical 2 times a day to help open bowel. I am afraid if I having more acid. Other problem is I am intolerance veniger, amines, nitrate , salicylates and meat. Only can have very small amount of meat😭 I can't have any enjoyment of meals. To day I went out with my husband I have to bring my own lunch which small mount of brown mixt white rice, plenty been shoots, and some chia seed.

Dear , please guide me what can I do now?

Xiao, have you heard of SIBO? Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth is often a result of constipation. Normally your small intestine is sterile but being backed up. Sometimes this may be due to a former food poisoning you may have suffered. One doctor has called "stomach viruses" food poisoning.

There are herbs and antibiotics used in treatment but basically eating maybe even predigested food.....food that will go through your digestive tract very quickly and leaving long periods between meals.....it's called an elemental diet. Healing with glycine follows the treatment. Is your doctor conventional or can you see a functional medical physician who know more about SIBO. Like this one:

Hi Heloise, thanks for your great information. I have watched the video and read the SIBO related linkes which are what I need to know. I was surprised that only SIOB could cause such massive medical problems. I am wonder that why such big root cause no one to take it seriously to educate people before even now. Not many people and GP know about that😪 I have had the SIBO symptoms many year ago, went to GP , ENT, allergy specialist etc. It's sad for people suffering for long time then lost chance to treat those problems early and getting worse and worse.

Now I have got gastro specialist who know about SIBO / leaky gut. He planned lactose and fructose test, the take antibiotics to clean up my small intestinal (He said that it might links intestinal metaplasia,) thanks God , hope it will help me .

One thing I still confused which about the acid reflex. My rheumatologist prescribed pantoprazole, Gp Prescribed Nextium for limited the acid in stoamch to prevent the lining, but I went to Nutropathy doctor who required me to have some acid( apple cider) which made me sneeze a lot.

Dear Heloise, what's your opinion?

It does seem to present a dilemma for you. I really don't know that much about your condition but we have learned the distinct relationship between your gut and your brain. The gut has more messages to the brain than the brain to the gut which means your brain is controlled in many ways by what you eat.

There is a widespread contamination in food by a pesticides and genetic modification. I don't think anything is safe any longer. I'm growing my own kale but it's impossible to do much more but we should have many diverse foods on our table.

The nice part is that your cell lining turn over is rapid but do you know if you are making those precancerous cells all the time. While h. pylori seems to develop due to low acid conditions it seems you would want to add acid but how does this affect your stomach? Do the enzymes produce pain? I do believe Pepto Bismol has some good benefits as well as deglycirrhizied licorice tablet you chew before meals. Maybe you could look that up. I wish we could help you more but we are not doctors and know more about getting healthy than treating disease.

Dr. Kharrizian is a Fellow at Harvard and researching the effects of autoimmune conditions on the brain. This article on what to eat is very interesting.

Hi Heloise, enzymes really helpped my digestion, I love it. Pepto Bismol and deglycirrhizied licorice I will look up, i believe it will help my stomach.

The most interesting thing is you recommended AIP which I want to leanr and follow. It gives me the hope to deal my disease. 🌸🌻🌷🌹🌺🌸🌷🌷😍😍😘😘

Xiao, pork is the easiest meat to digest. I had big problems many years ago and noticed that pork was okay. At the appointment with the gastroenterologist I told him it's the only animal protein I can eat. He confirmed that because pork is closest to us, it is the easiest to digest. Next is goat.

Chicken, beef, lamb, fish..... not easy to digest.
