Substernal multinodular goitre-no diagnosis yet

I've written before and had some really helpful and informative replies re thryoid/bloods etc but things aren't going as smoothly as I hoped and don't know who else to ask for info now.

I've had a multinodular goitre for 20 odd years, no treatment, no advice, but years ago suddenly with no explanation GP prescribed carbimazole. After several months. GP stopped that 'cos he said I had myxodema!

I'm now in a situation where I'm really not functioning properly, so many symptoms too many to list. Had a Medichecks + 11 test, showed low B12 & vit D took results to GP, so GP had more bloods done but NHS results show B12 is fine !! But also told I have macrocytosis (large red blood cells) so try B12 pills for 3 months and see if cells reduce.

Additionally after a scan found I now have a substernal goitre, but 18 weeks to see an endo. I truly don't know how to help myself. I'm trembly, forgetful, confused, painful joints and so very exhausted all the time.

Can you please help? j x

Sorry you had no replies. This may be because your post was missed or simply because no one had any relevant info.
