I remember getting heartburn and bloating before I started going gluten free & starting my vitamin & mineral regime and making sure they are as optimal as possible.
I also found taking pre & probiotics helped a lot. I also use Kefir on my cereal or drink it and that helps my stomach.
I've not had trouble since.
Are you addressing any vitamin & mineral deficiencies you may have? If you have any results then do post them so members can help 🙂
No my drz.didnt perscribe.me.any vitamin level a d.i wanted.to try probiotic but these are not.avalble in myc area...
Are you in a position to do private tests and purchase vitamins & minerals over the internet?
ihve taken vit d ampule by own.. But others supplement are not avalble here.. Here products sold with their name s not.with their supplement when i go to buy they ask me what is its name. If.i tel them internet name they these are imported medicnes not avalb here.
Just been reading one of your old posts and noted you are from Pakistan. When it's comes to gluten free remember you'll be fine with rice, fruits, vegetables & meats.
Hi, I understand you live in a city (not in the UK) and have limited healthcare?
A previous post mentions blood in sputum - if this is ongoing then you must ask a friend or family member to take you to see an emergency doctor (stomach / duodenal ulcer). Alternatively, if the pain is more like a pressure, tightness, pain, or a squeezing or aching sensation in your chest or arms that spreads to your neck, jaw or back accompanied by shortness of breath you should also see a doctor asap. If, however, it is most symptomatic after eating, lying down or bending over sometimes leaving a sour taste in the mouth ... then most likely to be a reflux problem (common in Hashi's).
Your gullet (esophagus) does sound inflamed and the things I used to have included peppermint tea; root ginger with lemon and honey (as a tea); golden paste - turmeric gently cooked in coconut oil with black pepper then added to warm almond milk with honey; and last but definitely not least, bone broth. I often make it from the carcass of a roast chicken (but sometimes mutton bones that have been in an oven for a couple of hours) with a carrot or two, an onion (skin on) chopped in half and the middle bit from some celery - covered in cold water in a large pot and simmered very carefully (I only do it when I am at home) for 12 hours. Broth is very soothing due to its gelatinous texture and contains a lot of amino acids that will help to repair your damaged gullet. Also, if you can get hold of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) having some vitamin C (or even diluted lemon juice) when you eat should help with digestion a bit. Make sure you have smaller meals while you have this problem - and to let your food go down well before going to bed (2 hours).
N.B. I am not a doctor, but have had a duodenal ulcer and reflux. I am worried about the blood in sputum (not necessarily an ulcer - sorry i should have been less specific) but it MUST be checked if it's ongoing as you may need antibiotics or other treatment.
Turmeric powder is what I use for golden paste (in the UK, turmeric root is not in many supermarkets). I hope you can see the link below for the recipe. The key thing is that it is mixed in the coconut oil before making it into tea. (Turmeric is better absorbed when it is bound to fats.)
Not sure what cbc means? If it is sold for the body and hair, then no - it may have perfumes or other additives and will not have any guarantees that it's safe for consumption. Olive oil should work as the recipe (link) suggests (I have not tried it with olive oil as I like like the combination of turmeric with coconut ).
Never tried it. It's a prescription drug here at higher strength and at low strength it's often sold as Zantec.... Maybe others can advise?
On Wikipedia it lists side effects of dizziness, headaches and constipation / diarrhoea.
The main problem is that it lowers stomach acid, so it'll only help with symptoms of reflux. In Hashimotos most people have low rather than high stomach acid. Please check the link I gave you about reflux from Dr Myhill's website.

Aawwww then what i do knoe.. I wanted to get rid.of this hell pain of heatburn.. Cant skip dairy cox only milk tea i drink at morning options are limited..
Heartburn is horrible, I just hope you don't need to remain on stomach acid suppressants for too long as it will work against your thyroid levels. Ginger is very good... I had it a lot in teas. I hope someone else can think of some other good natural remedies that you could find in a city in Pakistan..
Fenugreek sounds good - I'll probably try for myself, thank you.
i got probiotocs lookat my new post and plz tele.are these fine?
Bio kult probiotics
And how should.i take this?
Not tried this brand, but looks ok to me. The one I have tried recently contains digestive enzymes, which is another thing to consider. Probiotics (some strains) are suspected of causing problems in a few people who have a lot of histamine, but it is unusual and very specific to individuals. I hope these will help you.
