Make sure that any UK prescription is written appropriately - right dosage tablets, right number of tablets. Typically 100 in Germany (contrast 28 in the UK).

Thank you my endo insisted I got my t3 from hospital only

It might be that in your area there are reasons for that. But I'd take that as "if you are using your prescription in the UK, go to the hospital pharmacy".

Official headed prescription letter stamped and signed by GP or endocrinologist.

Clear description of the drug and dosages e,g Novothyral 75 or Novothyral 100 are the T4/T3 combination and Thybon is the T3 only drugs in Germany.

So to save angst and time at the pharmacy counter ensure that the relevant local drug is prescribed.

Be prepared to have to wait for the pharmacy to have the T3 or T4/3 drugs delivered.

Be clear about the amount required as the default seems to be 3 months anything more would have to be stated clearly.
