Hello. After years of trying various thyroid drugs, I'm coming back to Acella but can't find a UK/European pharmacy. It seems many of us are affected by inconsistencies in manufacturing, what the pharmacists call an 'availability' issue. This is why thyroid generics are not prescribed in France and many other European countries - 'they're not in the patients' best interests'. Still, why aren't the watchdogs, who are they?, not paying attention. Endocrinologists and the pharmaceutical industry are in collusion re profits vs science; blocking of new research is rampant and we continue to bear the brunt. The reason I'm switching back to Acella, or trying to, is that for me, there are other factors which have inhibited my endocrine system which has taken years to disentangle: lead/mercury in my system; historical vaccines; early Epstein Barr virus; lack of vitamin D. SO, does anyone now how to find a pharmacy that will supply? Many thanks!
