I have low cortisol tested recently with a saliva test - below range for 2 samples and bottom of range for 2 samples.

I did the iris test - no reaction

I had the sitting/standing blood pressure test done at a hospital appointment yesterday - my standing blood presssure rose quite a bit .

Just done the white line test - it just disappeared within 2 seconds.

None of those seem to agree with my saliva test.

Haven't done the temperature test.

Aha! That's perfect SeasideSusie ! Thank you! (Was it an Endo that did the sitting/standing blood pressure thing?)

No, I was at the hospital for a heart ultrasound and the nurse did weight, height, BP etc before going in for the US. I was very surprised that BP was taken sitting and standing - first time ever in my life that's happened, apart from a private thyroid doctor. But this particular nurse is very thorough (and unique!), not at a main hospital but at our very small local community hospital where occasional clinics are done. He's very patient orientated, won awards for his nursing, etc.

That's why I asked as I've never had it done and it sounds relatively obscure. He sounds like a keeper! (Hope everything OK!)

He was at our local surgery this morning when I went for an appointment, he helps out with taking blood regularly. Asked how I was today, gave him a polite version of cr@p and he was so caring but he's funny and cheerful all the time as well. They certainly broke the mould when they made him. I'm down for a blood draw with him next week :)
