Sorry a T3 problem again

Unfortunately my GP is no longer able to issue my prescription for T3 and whilst I know I’ve been lucky to get it until now I now need to source it myself. I can get a private script however my local pharmacy want £638 for it! Could anyone send me a private message with their source please?

Take a look at ThyroidUK's article on where to obtain T3 from Germany with a prescription

Apparently it is much cheaper than getting the prescription filled in the UK although the wording on the prescription has to be correct as the T3 comes as 20mcg tablets I believe.

Thank you Susie. I take 3x 5mcg daily so they obviously won’t dispense 20mcg tablets for me then

I don't know what they can provide. It might be worth contacting the pharmacies to see if they can help. Also you could try putting a new post on the forum asking where you can get 5mcg "brand name" T3 prescription filled.

You can cut a 20mcg tablet if all else fails.
