The nhs lulls people inot a false sense of security asense that you are being looked after when you are not. Dont be stubbern Ghart you know what you need, there is no point in you being ill when you could get some T3 yourself. They don't give a damn and you wont be able to make them.
You obviously would be better to obtain your own T3 and ignore the ignorant GP. It's very disheartening to be treated with indifference, as I know only too well.😔
As an aside, what are your B12/folate levels like? The bladder problems you mention could be attributed to low levels, as I recently discovered, and I had exactly what you describe.
Even when desperate, I only had a certain level of flow. Also I suffered leakage, (usually a.m.), as the sphincter seemed slightly open, but I could never increase the flow when I got to the loo 😳
It's difficult to find the root of each symptom when they often overlap or coincide.
I was never diagnosed with a B12 deficiency, just folate, but I clearly have a fairly serious one, which I'm now addressing myself. Good luck with sorting it all out ~ it's awful that we have to go through this minefield of ill health with only disbelief and indifference from medics. 🍀 x
Hi Mandyjane. I am happy to obtain my own but I am finding it more difficult. Greece has a problem then I used Germany now they have been taken over by a bigger firm.
