I believe it is:-

liothyronine is Liotironina

In Italian we call it T3 (and Tsh and T4). I would guess they call them the same.

That isn't what it is called on the packet of most liothyronine products, though.

I found one pharmacist who knew about T3 in Alicante but the others did not. I don’t think it’s used much in Spain.

It's not generally prescribed, and you can't buy it in the pharmacy, I've tried in my local, where I used to live.

I've tried a few places round here (Costa Blanca) and had no luck. My doctor says all you need is T4...so that's OK then isn't it!!

If anyone does source any in Spain can you let me know please?

T3 is not on the list of permitted drugs in the Valencia region. I have tried with my doctor.
