posted yesterday regarding my new blue horizon blood test results and had some lovely replies helping me understand them etc., and beginning to feel as though the hard work regarding correct dosage plus vitamins was beginning to work
Cant believe the remark I got from my Endo this morning when I sent her a snapshot of my results from my phone... I was thinking I was started to feel better and have some energy to get out of bed and do stuff …. with many of my symptoms starting to go and she replies with "the Low TSH suggests overtreatment, not undertreatment" oh goodness me ….I know what is going to be said to me next month when I go to see them ...reduce , reduce , reduce …..well I wont be … I want to get better not stay in bed for another 2 years feeling so poorly.

Just shows forum members offer better advice than endocrinologists do! Did she prescribe the NDT, yet not know that TSH had effectively become redundant as bypassed by the T4 and T3 she added? Perhaps by next month she will have done some homework....
Thanks Judithdalston yes I asked her to prescribe it for me as I had been on levo for over 40 years and was really poorly so wanted to change to a more natural NDT. I doubt it ...but I will not be reducing my dose in fact I will probably increase it by 1/4 grain and see how I get on
