Suffered from under active thyroid for 3 years, on 175mcg levothroxine also taking 3 iron tablets my body can’t store iron. But now my results for thyroid is border line, doctor afraid to up them. She said it can effect liver function, is this true?

Based in what you’ve said - no! Not true! If you’re on 175mcg of levo and are “borderline” (which I can only assume means your TSH is high in range...) then you very much need a raise in levothyroxine. Why on earth would she think taking more levo would harm your liver?
What are your blood test results - do you have them to post here?
Do you take Vitamin C? It often helps with iron absorption. But if you’re having absorption issues, then they need checking out. Ever been checked for Coeliac Disease (or do you already know that you have a gut issue?)?
Just checked previous posts and see you were prescribed folate a while back. Did they test Vit B12 before giving you folate? If you don’t absorb iron it’s very likely you’re B12 deficient too.
Thanks for reply I never seen my blood results, only get a phone to be given results. They only called me back up the surgery, because I went dizzy broke my nose, glued nose and 2 black eyes. Sorry late reply I forgot like everything else, I’m terrible xx
