I’m new and just happen to come across this site ... I joined right away after reading some of your posts regarding all aspects of the thyroid.. I was diagnosed 10 years ago and nothing’s changed, in fact, I’m getting worse, a lot more tired, fuzzy memory, gaining weight and so on... recently my endo prescribed t3

So I started taking it and felt a little better

More energy than before... but I still get sleepy and no weight loss.. but time will tell

At the moment I’m on the search for a genuine UK supplier as the gp won’t prescribe the t3 Liothyronine and privately well let’s just say it’s way tooooooo expensive 😵 guess what.. I went to Day Lewis pharmacy and they quoted me £600 for 8 weeks worth of tablets 😵 anyway the search continues ...

If your endo has prescribed T3, why won't your GP?

If you are looking for a supplier of T3 in the UK without prescription, there aren't any, it's illegal to supply prescription only medication without a prescription . If you have a private prescription it is a lot cheaper to send it to Germany - details in ThyroidUK's article on their main website
