I had my thyroid removed about six weeks ago and am taking Levo and T3 (which I have sourced myself) and am on 100 mcg/25mcg respectively. I feel good on this dose and will get my bloods done within the next couple of weeks but I do feel as though I should be taking more T3 based on what I have read on here.
I would be most grateful if someone could pm me the name of anyone who can help me source more T3?
Please feel free to ask me any questions about my TT or anything else I may be able to help with?
Thank you

Are you still under the endo/Consultant who did your TT?
What were your test results when you originally started adding T3?
What dose of T3 did you start on?
Why didn't you see how you felt on Levo only first?
T3 should be started low and increased gradually, so it should be started at 1/4 of a tablet (6.25mcg) and increased by 1/4 tablet increments 2 weeks apart, see how you feel and if you reach 25mcg you should retest 6 weeks after the last dose change.
You can't rush hormone replacement, it needs to be increased gradually over time.
No I am not under the Endo who did my TT as he has discharged me. I had only basic blood tests done at the time. I have read enough on here and elsewhere to know that the combination of both T4/T3 is best for those who have had a TT.
I have titrated my T3 up to 25 mcg over the first month. I will be getting my bloods done this week and will post my results on here when I do.
