Hi I've started to ache , sweating and bloating is this to much t4 or t3 confused , I take 50 mg Levo just can't seem to get it right and I've started to put on weight which I haven't b4 can anyone advise me plz

Also say if you have had thyroid antibodies tested and what the result was.

At the moment we don't have enough information to help you. I see an hour or so ago you were asking about taking T3 too. Are you only on T4 now, how long have you been on the 50 mcg dose, and what are your blood results for TSH, FT3, FT4 etc.? Your 'don't seem to be getting it right' remark sounds like you are modifying your doses, perhaps not waiting long enough for your body/ organs/cells to adjust . Have you been tested for autoimmune antibodies/ Hashimoto's? What about VitD, B12, ferritin and folate levels?

Hi no I've not been tested for anything else I just take levethyroxine 50 mg at the mo but I heard if I took t3 it would help me lose weight as I struggle even tho I eat healthy and exercise everyday , I will go to my doctors and get a full count thankyou ,

Your doctor might not test for all these, perhaps you might be better off with a Medichecks etc type private blood test where you can get all the full thyroid, min/ Vit and antibody tests ideally say after 6 weeks on one constant T4 dose. Thursdays Medichecks has 20% off many tests, but you can keep the kit till needed, or even just to get some NHS tests and use the same blood draw to fill Medichecks phials.
