Hey there again, sorry, I can't comment on above - I am still with my " L " plates on ! but you are in the right place and will need to start reading up whether it be an overactive or underactive thyroid issue, if that is what is eventually diagnosed. If you are with an autoimmune condition, your doctor should establish this fact with blood tests for specific antibodies. I know it is difficult, emotional, physically, psychologically and mentally, you can be like a loose cannon - it's ok, things will balance out once you have a diagnosis and on some level of medication. In the meantime, be kind to yourself, acknowledge you are not well and have done the right thing by seeking help through the doctor, who has the ability to get the correct blood test actioned immediately to identify " what is going on " - from memory I got signed off for a week or two, prescribed Carbimazole and returned to work when I felt more able. This site is your " go to " for all things - there are amazing people here who will know the correct procedure - be able to read your bloods and explain in ordinary words what to do, what comes next. Hang fire, 'til we know the right bloods have been taken and the results tell the full story rather than just the preface.
If it is Graves - from one to another - Stop beating yourself up ! Be kind to yourself !
vitamin D should be a lot better. Been off high dose for a couple of weeks now. Now doctor wants me on 4000 supplement for life every day. How long should I wait to do medi check blood test for?
Vits etc being optimal is so important and yet many doctors shun them. Mine said to stop taking them, I ignored her, but a few weeks back she asked which tests would I like doing! One thing I've noticed though is she does try to find advice about things she doesn't talk about! So big step forward!
