I am afraid I really do not understand what you are asking here.
Perhaps this will help?
Are you asking if supracavicular nodes can be confused with parathyroid adenomas ? Answer to that would be no because your parathyroids are normally tucked behind the thyroid, however they can on rare occasions be located elsewhere but frequently they don't show on an ultrasound regardless of location. A sestamibi scan is used in the diagnosis of parathyroid disease.
Merci for feed back my ultra sound scan show multi nodulaire thyroid no really suspect but a left latero tracheal nodule hypoechogene . The radiologist ask to do PTH,calcémie ."..to rule out PTH ....the result come ok
To have other opinion I had another ultra sound same hypoechogene nodule seen sus clavicule and she want to rule out with PTH and ask to do test for Parathormone and calcium
Blood test are all normal
My question is can we have parathyroid adénome with normal blood screening ?
Merci sorry for my english
