i mentioned my stomach cramps and heavy bleeding to the point i was wearing a massive incontinence pad to bed, she has referred me for another scan to see if the fibroids have gotten bigger and to check coil is still in place, been prescribed tranexamic acid to take alongside mefenamic acid if i get another heavy bleed
also asked about the blood results they did for my heart as its been worrying me, no results on the system so she called hospital and BNP 25 no range but she said it was a good level (big weight lifted)
she weighed me and was happy with the weight loss
said to keep on with the walking but not to push myself, i asked about the shortness of breath and she said it will get better as i lose weight
wednesday we went on a 1.90 mile walk, my daughter kept saying 'shall we head home (the way we go there is a few ways to get home) and i wanted to keep going (we have some good walks where i live)
i did ache yesterday but not as bad as i normally ache, wednesdays total steps were 11.865
normally when i go to the drs i get a lift from hubby but now i walk and its literally 8 minutes from me

my walking started when i seen a locum dr for my chest, he checked me over sat there with a smug grin on his face and said 'you need to lose weight and exercise more' i told him i had lost over 3 stone stone and he said i needed to lose weight........he just as well of said 'you are fat and lazy' because thats how it came accross and at that time i was happy with getting 2000 steps a day
i posted on facebook and then a friend from america added me on fitbit and we have been doing daily goal challenges ever since and ive been increasing my step goal which is now 4500, i will get them steps but want to keep it at a doable amount in case i have a bad day and then i would force myself to reach the goal and i dont want that
now im doing many challenges with different friends and im happy with my progress
hubby says my belly is lifting and tightening up (im not seeing it and after 11 kids im surprised its doing anything)
Well mandy72, if your husband is 'happy' with improvement in your figure - that says more than all the doctor's comments to you. They can be very demoralising.
