Thought I would tell my journey with Hashis. For almost three years I believed it was the Levothyroxine making me feel so unwell with achey joints, weight gain and inflammation. I have tried all of the alternative treatments for thyroid and had some relief for a short time. I have now started taking HRT and realise that it has been the menopause all along making me feel this way.
I started HRT 4 weeks ago and haven’t looked back I have lost 10lb in weight and have more energy. Menopause caused the thyroid problem in me and HRT has helped massively x

I'm so pleased that you have at last found an answer. Could I please ask what is the type/name of the HRT you're taking? I tried Kliovance when I was menopausal, and despite much fiddling about with dosage, it made me 10 times worse!! I took it for ages 😕 I think I may have just needed progesterone as I have always had oestrogen dominance, I also had other factors, and I had been hypo for 20 years by then. Glad you've had success though, after all you've tried!😊 xx
Hi yes of course i will share the HRT i am on. I did request body identical HRT from my GP and they were very accommodating. I believe it is made from wild Yam rather than horse urine.
I use two pumps a day of Estrogel which is Oestrogen, i still have my womb so have to take progesterone too which i take as a vaginal capsule, this is Utrogestan.
I also use HRT, mine is done thru a compounding pharmacy it also includes progesterone=14days of 30. This in combination with evening promise oil caps taken at night will make those hot flashes!! I've told several girlfriends...they all agree, give it a try. Why feel icky?
