CRP advice please

My medicheck test results came back with notes from the Dr.

My CRP is 4.49. 0.00 - 5.00

This is part of Dr advice .....

Whilst your CRP does not indicate inflammation the type of CRP test that you have had is one which can also indicate future risk of cardiovascular disease. I recommend repeating this test in 6-8 weeks to see whether it remains above 3. If it does then I recommend that you take a more aggressive approach to managing other cardiovascular risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diet, smoking and exercise levels.

........ can you knowledgeable folk give me some pointers on this please ?

I do have arthritis, wondered if this could be a contributing factor?

Any advice would be great

Many thanks 🌞

Your ferritin level is normal indicating healthy iron stores.

I've seen advice from some doctors that CRP over 1 is a bad thing. But it records any inflammation so, yes, arthritis would affect it.
