My last TSH (3 months ago) was 2.5 and in range apparently (I am aware Thyroid UK recommend it is kept below 1).
I started to suspect things weren’t right as my shower plug hole kept getting blocked with hair.
The test was done about 5am at the end of a night shift, before taking my meds. It was a venous blood test, rather than finger prick, as I work in a hospital so always have someone available to take blood.
Would night shift affect the results at all? I’m going back to G.P. soon to ask to increase to 125micrograns of levothyroxine. I have a good named G.P. who diagnosed me after years of thinking I was going mad.

Night shifts do affect hormone levels - and not just thyroid.
What time of day was your previous test done? Was that also while on nights?
I agree that a modest increase seems appropriate - see how to goes then re-assess. But it is also important to be sure of where you are in terms of iron (ferritin), vitamin B12, folate, vitamin D, etc.
