As there's nothing in your profile and no information in your opening post, can you tell us a bit more about your thyroid journey, your diagnosis, your test results, your dose of thyroid meds and if they've been changed, etc.
We often find new members asking for information about obtaining T3 but when have more information we often find there's a problem with something else that needs addressing before knowing if T3 will be of any help.
To help you we need to see results, with reference ranges, for
TSH
FT4
FT3
Thyroid antibodies
Vit D
B12
Folate
Ferritin
That gives us the whole picture and then we can see where the problem lies.
Thank u SeasideSusie. Yes I'm not going to rush out and take T3. Just researching as having another wave of desperation. Reasonably knowlegeable as studied herbal medicine and nutrition.
Not had any bloods done since a year ago but they were essentially "normal" although optimal ranges are very different to many lab ref ranges no ?
I feel far from normal....common story here I know ! It seems like i'm not ill enough to get any help yet feel too unwell to live a life....just feel so trapped and like my life is descending in to nothingness. Ability to earn money is massively affected and therfore so is private medical help. The awful catch 22.
Lots of clinical signs and symptoms that could be hypo incl low temp. What has caused me to revisit researching this is watching some of Dr Myhill's stuff and her comment about CFS often relating to hypo when it has got slowly and progressively worse over many years.
Bloods 1 yr ago....
TSH 1.29 (0.7 - 4.2)
FT 14.28 (12.00 - 22.00)
TT 79.7 (59.00 - 154.00)
FT3 3.93 (3.10 - 6.80)
TGB 10.920 (0.00 - 115.00)
TPO 5.63 (0.00 - 34.00)
Secondary/central hypo ??
Not had nutrient tests for a long time but previously ferritin was bottom end of range (test done through GP). Vitamin D was also within their range.
My diet is pretty on it....moving deeper into paleo/keto now. I supplement with all core supplements. I'm weller than I was but still not well enough to live life which is so frustrating.
I work very hard on trying to improve my health but some days I just get so tired of it all and just feel like I just want a leg up ! Although obvs would prefer not to take thyroid hormones even if they were appropriate.
Thank u in advance for any insights...

If you could retest and get current levels we might get some clues. If your Free Ts have lowerd even further then yes, central hypo is a possibility. Also, it would be interesting to see if your antibody levels have altered much. No sign of autoimmune thyroid disease with those results, but as they fluctuate we can't rule it out unless there have been a few negatives over a period of time.
What we tend to look for in nutrient levels is Ferritin at least 70 for thyroid hormone to work (our own as well as replacement), Vit D 100-150nmol/L as recommended by the Vit D Council, B12 above 550 and folate half way through range.
We have two recommended labs that can do all those tests mentioned
