Dear all, I am currently taking 500mcg thyroxine daily, my last t4 was 22 and i'm still feeling crappy, cant recall the other results apart from GP said T3 was suppressed??. I'm aware that before anyone can help me here, i need to post some comprehensive bloods test results.
I note Blue Horizon labs have a huge amount of different packages going up to £250; please could someone recommend which test package would provide enough info for members here to comment/advise? Thanks in advance.

I had the Thyroid + 12 test from blue horizons. Your T4 intake is HUGE! But you T3 is still suppressed ... You could possibly be converting most of your T4 into RT3 (Which the NHS do not test for), the Thyroid + 12 does, also checks for Hashimoto anti-bodies etc. My BH results showed me to have High/over/out of range T4, High/over/out of range TSH also BUT it also showed me to have high RT3 and very low T3. I ALSO (Bleenin ‘ALSO’ haha!) I had Hashimoto anti bodies that were off the chart! .... If you are on 500mcg’s of Levo Thyrox-s**t a day and still feel rubbish I suspect your converting most of it to RT3 which will keep your TSH high and making the clueless Dr’s Pump you full of more T4 .. Which in the long run will make you worse! Get the Thyroid + 12 done, post your results and we can all go from there. Good luck Orange!! 👊🏻👊🏻
