Ive just had my results back..ive been taking 175mcg/200mcg on alternate days...theyre back as:

Serum TSH level 0.56 (0.3-6 normal range)

Serum free T4 level : 30.3 (10-22 normal range)

Im just perplexed as i feel better than i have in months and losing weight etc ...

Last month i was TSH 17.3 and T4 17.7 ..so my T4 is worse but i feel better 🤔..

Any ideas/advice anyone..? X

Are you sure you've got those numbers right? At 30.3, your FT4 is now a lot higher than it was at 17.7.

Sorry!!! I dont know how that changed..the previous FT4 was 25

I was on 175mcg which they said was too low and to go onto 200mcg..i went onto 200 but i must be really sensitive as i started to feel overmedicated (ive been over medicated prev so knew the signs) so went to alternate days and have felt so much better except the FT4 is now showing 30.3..i just dont understand it :-\ ...

So, even with the new numbers, your FT4 is still higher now than it was previously? Even with a lower dose? Do you have high antibodies?

Apparently so...thats why im so confused! Im not sure about the antibodies, i just went on my patient access and the results were on there..

Im not on a lower dose as such...the 175 was too low but then the 200 was too high so i alternate the days...since ive been doing that (approx 12 weeks) ive felt great which is why im surpriaed to see the FT4 has gone even lower...

I'm sorry, but as I understand it, your FT4 has gone up, not lowered. And, that's probably why you feel better, because your FT3 will have gone up, too.

If you have high antibodies, then you have Hashi's. And that could account for your FT4 shooting up like that.
